The Maier Crew: July 2011

Is what I would hear every single day for 3 weeks strait before our trip...Noah was SOOO excited when I told him...except every morning when he woke up he thought we were going THAT day. Well...THAT day couldn't come soon enough. We decided to go and see Julia, Nick, Brandon and Addison the minute we found out that they were being re stationed in Turkey for 2 years. So, we planned a trip for Addison's first birthday party. My Mom and Grandparents also decided to come at the same time...

Noah's second trip on an airplane...FIRST TIME AS A TODDLER on an airplane....I'm kinda scared...Will he be "that kid?"

Let's do this!

Thank goodness...Noah was sooo good...He watched his DVD player (Fireman Sam...over and over and over again)...ate his snacks, played with his toy airplane...and snuggled with his blankey and mickey mouse for the whole 5 hour flight.

You can tell that you live in a small town when as soon as you start seeing the buildings and hotels on the Vegas strip your son starts yelling "Look at the Castles Mommy!!!! Look Anoder one Daddy!" Talk about amazement....Want to entertain your child...just drive him through the town of Las Vegas!

Noah was SOOOOO excited to see his cousins Brandon and Addison...and so were we!!!

Our vacation started with us getting a massage the day we flew in. It was awesome girl fun with my sister, Grandmother Maggie and Mother. That night my Grandparents took us all out to dinner.

Addison's First Birthday Party!

The next day we all celebrated my niece Addison's first birthday at Julia and Nicks house along with a few of Julia and Nick's close friends. It was a fun celebration with food on the grill, cake, ice-cream and presents!

What an amazing and blessed day. So glad that we could all be a part of Addisons 1st birthday celebration!

POOL TIME!

Our little water bug. It's a good thing our hotel room overlooked the pool...By the end of our vacation, Noah was swimming without any "swimmi's" on and plugging his nose and dunking his face under the water. He has NO fear and just LOVES the water.

Julia, Brandon and Addison all came over to swim too!

We also checked out the pretty awesome pool on Nellis AFB...which had a kid water park.

Eventually we will get Brandon to take his swimmi's off. LOL...

Wait a minute....We're only on day 2 and these kids are already exhausted??? It's ok...That means we get to nap too! LOL
